Xtube is now trying to squeeze free viewing. Xtube has now started to claim that in order to 'maintain a high level of service', it wants free viewers to now take out a free membership. If you don't take out a free membership, you are BADGERED TO DEATH with a pop-up screen that constantly "asks" you to become a free member. You can click the "continue" button, but the mere fact that you now have to jump through hoops to see free videos is a negative for Xtube. If that isn't bad enough, after you take out a free membership, then you are badgered by another pop-up for money by "buying" into one of the 4 options to help them raise money to, again, "maintain a high level of service". Yes, you can click the continue button to bypass it and see the videos but again, it is a nuisance and a detractor from true free video viewing. I believe this move will cause Xtube to see people start to take their free videos and go elsewhere. Xtube isn't the only gig on the internet for free adult video viewing. This move may come back to bite Xtube owners/management on the ass. I know that *I'll* be looking elsewhere now. The days of truly FREE viewing on Xtube are over! How sad.
