Profcast limitations

Profcast does just two things. It melds presentation software, such as PowerPoint, with an audio recording of the user's voice; then it uploads the uneditable result to Garageband or iWeb (for those who subscribe) or to your disk. There is no way to reopen the file in Profcast once it is saved/uploaded. There is no way to edit out interruptions, ambient audio (door slam) in the audio recording. Once editing is done in Garageband the resulting file becomes 20 times larger than the enhanced version in Profcast. Beware.
