Angelsoft is the industry-standard collaboration platform for organized business angel investor groups. It services the complete infrastructure needs of the early stage private equity community from a Web 2.0 platform which supports angel group web sites, entrepreneur deal preparation and submission, and cross-platform mobilized applications providing secure 'deal rooms' for processing angel investments. As the most advanced third party application based on a custom build of Firefox 1.5 (Mozilla core 1.8), and written in XUL, Angelsoft was developed over a two-year period in close collaboration with core members of the Firefox and original Netscape development team. The Angelsoft back-end leverages key frameworks, including Spring, Hibernate, Web Works, and Acegi. All data is delivered as RDF using Jena as a translation layer.
