The goals of the Auction Wikia project are as ambitious as they are straightforward:
1. To stimulate public discussion, regarding safe, convenient, and profitable use of Online Auctions, enabling all those interested, to propose, respond, discuss, and criticize ideas.
2. To engage an army of worldwide auction users who will share their experience, and knowledge.
3. To identify significant ways to improve Auction systems, and to decide together where change is desirable.
4. To forge a consensus around possible areas that could be changed.
5. To build the public momentum necessary to achieve significant reform of Auction Systems.
6. Here we will learn whatever we don’t know already about auctions, from a friendly worldwide Auction Community.
7. We will learn from each other, were to find auctions, and how to auction.
8. We will get: Auctioning advice, Auctioning help, and Auction tips.
9. The idea is -- harnessing the distributed power of the Internet by receiving reports from anyone interested, and passing information directly to Auction Wikia.
10. We will together, identify what needs members have in common and how those needs can be met to sustain the group.
